BULGARIAN-TURKISH ECONOMIC BUSINESS FORUM IN CROSS-BORDER AREA BG-TK PDF Print E-mail

Оn 28th of December, 2009 SEE Net on Balkans – CBR BG-TR Project has been submitted applying for funding under Cross Border Cooperation Program  Bulgaria-Turkey
Lead Partner: National Ass. Of Small and Medium Business – Yambol branch, BULGARIA
Turkish partners: Luleburgaz Municipality , Luleburgaz Businessman Association „LIAD”
General objective: To improve the quality of human capital; to promote entrepreneurship; to improve the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and NGOs working for businesses; to increase their contribution  to creating a favorable business environment and sustainable socio-economic development of cross-border region – Municipalities of Yambol and Tundja-Bulgaria and Luleburgaz Municipality in Turkey.
 Specific objectives:
1.To activate the institutional capacity of business organizations for joint planning and cross-border activities to raise awareness on compliance with EU legislation for small and medium enterprises.
2.To identify the training needs and to develop training programs / modules and transfer of best practices that enhance the competitiveness of firms by extracting advantage from the application of Community law and economics based on knowledge;
3.To create a tool / structure for cooperation - a cross-border centers to attract investment which will organize the annual cross-border economic forum in two editions: spring in Yambol and autumn in Luleburgaz; 
4.To provide Information services for entrepreneurs operating in the border region through Internet-based resources for business: e-learning in key areas of Community law, a register of experts database for business information services and others through the portal upgrade www.seenetwork.eu   

Qualitative results:
Increased competitiveness of SMEs and NGOs;
Updated and build capacity of entrepreneurs and representatives of NGOs and public sector for strategic planning, implementation of key areas of Community law;
Established mechanism for regular discussion and exchange of information between beneficiaries;
Improved access of SMEs to information resources, training, specialized expertise and training initiatives;
Established a mechanism for online (distance) training in LLL, updating of professional qualification of entrepreneurs;
Improved awareness of business target players for their role in social and economic change in the region and implementation of the Community Acquis.
